Patient with Anxiety

from Boulder, CO

The unlovely things I brought to Montana were: a dislocated bicep tendon, a frozen shoulder joint, a sprained back, a cyst in my right knee, tendonitis in my left elbow, and rotten digestion. After 10 gentle treatments from the skilled hands and heart of Montana, I left with these gifts from her: a bicep tendon exactly where it should be, a pain free and healed back, a happy knee minus one cyst, a fully functional elbow (no tendonitis), a shoulder joint unfreezing and making rapid progress towards full function, good digestion (leading to better sleep also), AND a profound sense of peace after each treatment that lasts well after the experience. I went to Montana in a lot of pain and fairly certain that my future was more of the same.  Not so.  Thank you, oh thank you, Montana.

Patient with Frozen Shoulder & Tendonitis

from Burlington, VT

I have struggled with chronic pain for over ten years. Montana’s warm and engaging personality put me immediately at ease. She is compassionate, professional, and intuitive throughout her assessment and treatment. I am new to acupuncture, and a bit of a nervous patient so when Montana explained everything that she was going to do ahead of time, it really eased my anxiety. After my first treatment, I felt relaxed, nurtured, and pain free. It felt as if the pain had lifted out of my body, and was nothing short of a miraculous result.

Patient with Fibromyalgia & TMJ

from San Diego, CA

I have had acupuncture on and off for years to treat stress, pain and anxiety, but nothing compares to the treatment I received from Montana Burns. Her bedside manner is incredible. She made me feel very comfortable and it was immediately obvious that she truly cared about treating me as a whole instead of focusing on individual symptoms. She asked thoughtful questions and came up with a treatment plan tailored to my needs. Definitely not a one-size-fits-all approach!  She explained what she was saying and made the treatment very accessible, empowering me to take part in my own care. I would recommend Montana to absolutely anyone – acupuncture devotee to complete newbie.

My session was so informative and just plain fun. It is a comfort knowing that a young woman with such sensitivity and talents is pursuing this important healing modality.

Montana has the capacity to be present to the patient that is startling to me. From that presence, her adaptive skills are enormous. If the needle insertion does not relieve the pain, she immediately responds with an alternative. She is patient and attentive to my story and my circumstance. Most of all, she conveys and transmits a caring for my well-being. I am 86 years old and feel vulnerable most of the time. With Montana, I feel safe and relaxed. I am in good hands.
